Much to Say, Much to Do.

Okay, well I guess I haven't had that much to say, but I have been busy.

I got a full-time job in Idaho Falls working as a receptionist. The commute stinks (45 minutes one way) and I'm definitely not a morning person--I have to be to work by 8. However, I LOVE my job! It is so laid-back and so are the people I work with. It is a small office and I really enjoy it.
We took Opie to the vet last week because she was limping. She would get really upset anytime we touched her leg. Tom was afraid he had hurt her when he was making her do back flips or something (no way) so we took her. They anesthetized her and took 2 X-Rays, coming to the conclusion that nothing was wrong. Maybe a pulled muscle or a bruise. Awesome. So we are $139 out, meaning this week Tom and I carpool to Rexburg where I then carpool with a coworker to Idaho Falls who luckily won't make me pay gas money until I get paid. I think we have a total of $20 in our account, which will soon be used for gas.
Which reminds me, we watched Dumb and Dumber this weekend and notice that gas cost $1.09! ugh.

Poompykins

Our pumpkins! You can probably guess which is mine and which is Tom's. You can't tell, but they are JUMBO pumpkins. Literally, that's what they were labeled at the store.

The whole time we were carving pumpkins, the cat just sat around like a lazy bum.

She played X-Box,

watched TV,

She even complained that we were "being too loud" and sat right in front of the TV.

She did try to eat the pumpkin guts, though.

The Sweetest Gifts

Our cat is pretty cool. She brings us presents every day! Here are the beauties she's been leaving for us.
Grasshoppers

Mice
Voles
(They're slightly bigger than mice. I found the uncustest picture I could but they're pretty cute.)

And now, Garter Snakes
(She's brought us 3 so far)

Oh Opie, thank you for loving us so much.

The last 6 months: a summary

Here are some highlights from the last 6 months (it makes me feel "caught up").

We honeymooned at the Oregon coast (with only a disposable camera),

We did humanitarian dental work in Guatemala,

I got my very own kitty (photo compliments of Allison Olesen),

And we moved to St. Anthony, Idaho to finish schooling (pictured here is a little friend trying to hide in our bathtub. He was not harmed.)

I know more than that has happened but these seem to be the only things I took pictures of. Newlywed life is such an adventure!
